Frequently Asked Questions
What primary services do you offer?
Rental of The Travel Tap refrigerated mobile trailer with 6 taps that will dispense the beverages of your choice. Due to Illinois liquor licensing requirements, you must be responsible for purchasing your own alcohol to provide to the taps. Because of these licensing restrictions, we cannot accept payment for alcohol. Payment for alcohol must be made separately by Client. We can help you through the purchase process and with delivery of kegs/beverages and help customize your experience with many other add-ons. Please see the Pricing Menu for options. The Travel Tap requires a flat area and clear access for set up and break down. We will need access to 2 – 120V outlets for the refrigerated trailer (preferred if they are separated outlets). If you do not have access to outlets, we have a generator and propane tank for rent. We come 1.5 hours before the event to set up. We will hook up and/or fill all kegs (that you have cold and ready, or we can pick up and deliver for you as an additional service). If Prosecco, Wine or Cider needs to be added to the kegs we do that during set up. All kegs that we provide, and all hoses and taps are thoroughly sanitized before and after EVERY event
…AND YES, wine through a tap is a real thing and it is fun for your guests!!

We will book your date once we receive your deposit and a signed contract. There is a minimum $300 non-refundable deposit and we take credit cards via Square. We also accept check and Venmo payments.
Is there a Bad Weather Plan?
We know Illinois weather can be unpredictable. If rain is in the forecast, we will be happy to work with your tent vendor to insure they provide an appropriate sized tent for our services to make your outdoor event amazing. Tents must be at least 7 feet tall for The Travel Tap to fit inside.
Does The Travel Tap fit indoors?
Yes it does! Please check with your venue on the clearance. We will need enough clearance to drive up with the tow vehicle and pull away once disconnected. The Travel Tap is 14 feet 1 inch long with trailer tongue, 6 feet 10 inches wide, and 6 feet, 10.5 inches tall.
